Murcia Match Play League with Mick Hardy

Next Monday sees the last matches in the league for the 2008 season. What an exiting league this as turned out to be. All very close at the top with only 9 points between the first 4 teams with Benijofar leading the way. All the players have agree that the format for this league adds an edge to the entire match and the way they play with nothing taken for Granted. There will at presentation evening at Hacienda Del Alamo on the 27th November for all the teams. There will be a short break now before next season starts again in January. A big thanks for this league goes to Alex McLennan who as run this league single handed all season and to Billy Sim at Hacienda for the letting us use the golf course there. The fixtures for November 10th are below and as you can see San Javier in third take on second place La Manga. Benijofar on paper should win the league as they take on bottom club Sucina so the other will be look for a shock in that match.
