San Javier Town Hall has taken part in another solidarity Project, which will set off for Mauritania on October 5th, with various tonnes of humanitarian help, consisting of educational material, sanitary items and food. This is the third time in which such a project has gone ahead. The main aim of the project is to improve the living conditions in the poorer parts of Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania. Over 40 businesses have sponsored this solidarity effort. The journey will take 15 days and consist of 10,000 km. Other items which are being taken are 20 sewing machines, with thread and material, for the women to use in a sewing workshop.
